Female Mexican gray wolf, Bella, from the Utica Zoo. Although she is 14 years old, she is still alpha of her pack, which consists of her four daughters. This particular pack is interesting because all of the daughters respect their mother too much to challenge her for position as pack leader. Instead, they have been challenging each other to establish who is in charge when it comes to just the four of them.
